i haven't updated this sucker for a looooooooooong time.
my weblogging loyalties have really switched.
haha.
anyway, here's a quickie recap of my semester so far:
+ PAA retreat in Jenner was sooooooooooooooo frickin' great. I'm so happy to get to know these folks. I'm blessed to be working w/ them, too. I hope they know that.
+ CalSO retreat in Marin was maaaaaaaaaaaaaad fun! It definitely melted the ice.
+ Classes are going well. I cut down to 4 techs + calso. Still on a relative christmas high... can you believe it?? haha! i can't.
+ PCN! This is the PCN semester. I love it! Can't do without it. (well... yes, i could.) anyway, i've gotten myself involved in jazz, hiphop, lyrical, and traditional dance, as well as, acting. (no, i will not be pcn hog)
+ PAA is rollin along. I've really gotten a feel for it and i hope i'm doing an okay job. I love serving communities, especially the Pilipino one. Call me crazy, but... I just might want to core for another year.
+ PASAE. well, hopefully we can pick up some kind of momentum. I'd actually really like to stay close to PASAE. I wish more people came out to things. We need to draw in more folks... hmmmm, that's an issue we can tackle at another time.
+ PASS Senior Weekend preparations have begun! yay! Banquet committee co-head w/ kawt. I really want to take those plus/deltas to heart this year. There were a lot of good things said post-SW and I want to keep those concerns in mind.
+ at home. things are going ok. home is home. and i'll probably be seeing less and less of it this semester (well, at least till pcn). no big deal. i still call home twice a day.
+ church. not as involved at st. agnes as i could be, but i'm also a few cities away getting my higher education on. they know i'll be back. gosh, i love that parish.
+ friends. i don't see or talk to that many of you anymore. in fact, we could be really drifting apart... and despite what you may think, i do genuinely care for you. hmmm... i think i need to learn to be a better friend.
+ chris. it's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for me lately, but i still love him more than i did yesterday and the day before and the day before. i didn't think i'd have the capacity to love so completely till at least my 20s. haha. close enough.
+ i'm getting old, and i'm only 19 3/4 years old. i hope i age like a good cheese. haha. jk... i hope i age like a fine wine. nevermind. i hope i age gracefully.
other things on my plate:
+ a potential senate bid
+ the opening of the multicultural center!
+ an international women's day vigil
+ women's conferences
+ oy, fafsa! it's due in like a week. i need to get started.
